Distress Crayon Gesso Fresco Technique
This technique makes the tags look so dimensional, but they are very flat and smooth, perfect for stamping and paper piecing. I used the Texana stamps released last year as well as the treat bag released this year.
The spider is paper pieced and the mini spider is used as a shadow by stamping and coloring it black. I also stamped the treat bag on the card and then paper pieced the colored bag.
The crayons on top of the gesso on the tag made a very colorful background. Various stencils were used to remove color and add backgrounds.

Alcohol Ink Fluid Landscapes on Yupo Technique
These landscape images don't need much more. I added the sentiment "Wish you were here" on both tags. I stamped the sunset tag with the new Texana Stamp mini fence. The new mini sailboat was the perfect image. It was stamped on the background for the waves and then stamped again on white cardstock. The sailboat was colored, cut out and glued over the stamped image.
