More Vertigo

Texana Designs Stamps - Ornaments & "Hang in there!"
Vertigo - Rattlesnake
Paper Studio Paper Pack - Simple Elegance
Brilliance Dew Drop Inks
Rocket Red, Cosmic Copper & Mediterranean Blue
Ranger Gold Embossing Powder
Dies - Lifestyle Crafts

Vertigo Tip:  Stamping on Vertigo can be tricky.  I stamped repeatedly with the Brilliance Dew Drops Inks using MISTI.  I also stamped the ornaments on white cardstock and layered it to give the stamped image more "pop".  MISTI allows me to stamp multiple images in the exact same place either on the same die or on multiple dies.  I really love MISTI.  To attach the Vertigo to the card, I punched tiny holes on each side of the string and tied a bow connecting both the Vertigo and the cardstock.  This way I didn't have to worry about adhesive showing through.

Happy 2015!

Wishing all a happy, prosperous and healthy 2015!

Texana Design Stamps - BW Heart Flag & "Have a Texas-size New Year's"
Vertigo Film - Taffeta
Embossing Folders - Cuttlebug - Stars & Darice - Fireworks
Fireworks! Ink Spray - Danube Blue & Rhubarb Stalk on background paper
Copics for highlighting fireworks
Stickles on the Texas star

Vertigo Tips:  Embossing with folders can be a tricky process.  Test the folder and a scrap (unlike what I did).  Some folders emboss nicely, others emboss too deeply and cause the film to buckle.

Okay, the pictures don't do the cards justice.  In the one above you can really see the "vertigo" effect of the specialty paper by Imagine Crafts.  I wanted to show the semi-transparent effect, so I created a top-hinge card and put the inside sentiment behind the focal point (heart).  You can see some of the adhesive used on the Vertigo, but I don't think it's terribly distracting.
