I finally got around to using the Tim Holtz 3-d Star Die. I absolutely love the dimensional stars. I was also thrilled to discover that the Texana Designs Star stamps work perfectly with the dies. I added the perfect sentiment and misted with Perfect Pearls.
I made one hanging ornament that is stamped on both sides and the sentiment is duplicated on a Tattered Label so that it can be read from either direction.
Then created four cards using a couple of star embossing folders I have on Core'dinations Chocolate papers. I sanded the embossed areas to reveal the color below. I stamped the sentiment on the reverse side of the Core'dnations paper for a perfect match and inked the edges for a nice distressed looked. I did adhere the 3-d stars with pop dots just to help keep the stars raised through all of the Texana Design Trunk Shows they will be traveling to.
